Yorke Peninsula's Saltwater Classic
Reflections on the 2024 Event
Yorke Peninsula's Saltwater Classic 2024 was held on the weekend of 13 and 14 April attracting about 80 wooden and classic boats with owners and crews.
The event also attracted an estimated 5,500 visitors to the towns to enjoy the diverse displays and activities with a visitor survey indicating a mix of regional, intrastate, and interstate people, along with some overseas tourists who were in the region and who chose to visit Stansbury and Port Vincent to experience the on-water and on-shore attractions of the Saltwater Classic.

Apart from the on-water program, the Saltwater Classic featured a spectacular display of foreshore activities for families including performances in Stansbury and Port Vincent by the Royal Australian Navy Band playing jazz and rock music, the award-winning Stansbury Seaside Markets and for the first time
